May 2018 was an exciting month for the vyn team. We kicked it off as contestants in Whoopie Goldberg’s Female Empowerment competition at the Arch Summit in Luxembourg, meeting global leaders within Vodafone’s expansive ecosystem. Less than 3 weeks later, we were a top-3 finalist at Salesforce’s Dreampitch, for the most innovative startup in the UK. We’re feeling the excitement as our hard work with vyn and our #nomoreforms vision is starting to get noticed.
As we learn from our global networks throughout Europe, North America and most recently Asia, we’d like to share some of these insights with all of you, the people who support, advise, listen, and most importantly, ask us the right questions to guide us on our journey. As one of our Twitter supporters, Sree Rupavatharam, noted recently, “Wins only matter so much, but learning goes a lot further”.
Vodafone’s Tomorrow Street initiative held their first Arch Summit in Luxembourg this May, giving global corporates and startups a chance to learn from each other’s strengths.
“Arch Summit was about bridging the gap between startups and corporates. We wanted to give innovative companies like vyn a platform to interact and showcase their business to Vodafone’s key decision makers and also introduce Vodafone to the great talent and potential companies present.”
Warrick Cramer, CEO of Tomorrow Street
