Vyntelligence Awarded the Most Popular Exhibitor by Utility Week Live 2024

Imagine this: you’re walking the aisles of the NEC in Birmingham at Utility Week Live with your colleagues in search for the next best innovation (or the stand giving the best freebies). It’s been a long day of seeing the same things, having the same conversations of ‘Hi, how are you?’ ‘What do you do?’ ‘What are you looking for today?’.

Then you turn into aisle J and hear the buzz, you see crowds of people immersed in engaging conversation, hands pointing to various parts of a stand and you glimpse at some of the best LEGO sets you’ve seen. You walk towards this bubble of energy and arrive at the Vyntelligence stand, the industry-leading platform trusted by 80% of UK utilities.

Amongst being awarded by Utility Week as the #1 Most Popular Exhibitor with the highest number of lead scans at their stand across the two days, we were happy to see many of our customers stop by and feel proud of their partnership.

A select few of our customers, our esteemed Game Changers, stopped by for a cloaking ceremony where they were presented with our high-in-demand GC jackets and a photo opportunity full of smiles.

Here’s a clip of Game Changer, William Bessa-Simmons, Senior Investment Delivery Manager, sharing a few words about his experience at Cadent Gas working with Vyntelligence to reduce fines (fixed penalty notices) by 85% by using SmartVideoNotes as a system of compliance.

We also had seasoned industry Game Changers such as Angela MacOscar, Director of Innovation at Northumbrian Water and a key member of our ecosystem of industry pioneers, as well as rising star Monisha Gower, Director of Assets at Northumbrian Water who brought some friends too.

Right across the busiest stand at Utility Week Live, at the Customer, Culture & Workforce stage, Vyntelligence sponsored the session on Ensuring Customer Trust where Co-Founder & CEO, Kapil Singhal, shared the stage with leaders from National Grid and Southern Water to discuss solutions for utilities.

Ofwat mentioned that customer distrust is one of the leading problems that utilities must focus on solving, and have recommended collaboration and partnerships to improve performance, sustainability initiatives and customer satisfaction.

Ashley Marshman, Head of Customer Service at Southern Water shared that resetting the relationship with customers is the key focus for utilities, to see that they can place trust in the utilities providing a reliable service. Kapil echoed that the focus on people & data is the best way to ensure trust as customers expect an Amazon-style level of convenience with their services. Tailoring operations and services to a data-led decision making approach will impact both the customer and field experience functions equally.

Alexandra Kaufman, Director of Land, Planning and External Affairs, Strategic Infrastructure, National Grid Electricity Transmission spoke about the The Grid Upgrade where working with communities to uphold a steady flow of information on how they are going to benefit was a focus.

Kapil closed the session by sharing that collaborating with Total Experience platforms like Vyntelligence allows utilities to take a holistic approach to improving their services both in increasing productivity with field teams and delivering that reliable, right first time service that customers are expecting.

At the event, Vyntelligence also launched their industry-first multimodal AI-first solutions to accelerate safe street works, addressing the national skills shortage in the race to Net Zero. Find out more about this pioneering solution delivering industry-leading change and benefits.
