Dwr Cymru Welsh Water, one of the flagship companies in Wales, selects Vyntelligence to provide an upgraded Customer Experience

Dwr Cymru Welsh Water

Vyntelligence has been chosen to support ‘Project Cartref’, Welsh Water’s flagship programme, to help target Customer side leakage. It will identify and work to repair common plumbing loss, identify, promote and install water efficiency opportunities and conduct basic regulation checks via internal surveys of private plumbing systems.

By partnering with Vyntelligence, Welsh Water customers engaged in the Cartref programme will be able to use their mobile device to video and register an internal problem such as a leak. It’s easy to use, simply talk about the issue as you video and send through the Vyn SmartVideoNotes technology without downloading another app.

Vyntelligence will also be used by Welsh Water’s Water Regulation team. The Water Regulation team conducts c.5000 regulatory inspections annually to protect public health. Vyntelligence will be used to receive video evidence, from customers of work completed for new customer connections. This enables remote auditing, quality assurance and safety compliance.

Vyntelligence’s patented technologies and smart categorisation of these data streams will automatically alert and recommend next best actions for the supervisory and remote expert teams to ‘close the loop’ faster, saving carbon miles and improving customer experience.

Kapil Singhal, CEO & Co-founder Vyntelligence said: ‘Vyntelligence is delighted to support such a customer-focused, not-for-profit utility as Welsh Water, which is committed to net zero carbon emissions by 2040. By investing in digital self-service tools from Vyn, field staff and our customer engaged in the Cartref program can more efficiently create a single picture of works, enhancing trust across all stakeholders.
