Openreach, one of the world's biggest communication companies, also builds and runs the UK’s broadband network.
The Challenge
Back in 2019, delivering a new network and the installation to site acceptance time averaged 14 days across thousands of assets. Quality control was a major roadblock. Third-party contractors often encountered snags after installs, triggering lengthy rework cycles during audits. The audit team couldn’t provide sufficient coverage to improve the situation.
The goal was to accelerate new network deployments, while improving the quality of work without requiring additional in-person audits.
The Outcomes
Since partnering with Vyntelligence, Openreach has made year-on-year progress and is setting a new standard for excellence in quality. From 58% snag free builds in 2020, to nearly 98% snag-free builds today,Openreach has shown remarkable results:
