Gigaclear is the UK's leading rural full fibre broadband provider, connecting more than 600,000 premises across 26 counties. However, deploying fibre in rural Britain involves bespoke installation requirements, many of which only become fully visible once engineers arrive on site.
This created a significant operational challenge. Engineers were arriving without complete information about site conditions, causing installs to fail at the point of delivery. Incomplete surveys meant teams had to return multiple times before work could be completed, extending wait times for underserved communities. Gigaclear needed a way to capture site requirements remotely and eliminate failed installations before they happen.

Customers now receive a secure smart link to record a guided self-survey of their property, replacing the need for a physical visit or blind install.
