May is finally here, and I'm excited. Why? We've spread our wings and headed to the European mainland! vyn has been invited to exhibit at the Arch Summit in Luxembourg this week, where we have entered the Whoopi Goldberg Female Empowerment competition.

We learn from our experiences working with our customers, partners and advisors to ask those key questions that drive action. Inspired by our TED-style speakers and guests at our March Perspectives event, here’s a key takeaway:

“How early can you ask the right questions when we’ve asked them all a hundred times?”

Kevin Kraft, Cognizant's Global Head of Sales & Marketing Transformation, shares this 60-second vyn (SmartVideoNote) summarising his talk at Perspectives London from 14th March 2018.

AI can answer "What will you do?", not just "What did you do already?"

Ashu Garg, CEO and founder of Volkscience, also founder and ex-CTO of Bloomreach, summarises his talk from Perspectives London hosted by vyn on 14th March 2018. In it he showed his passion for building recruitment tools that look beyond our human biases.

“AI saved my life”

Kamini Banga, award-winning author, investor and philanthropist, gives the highlights of the talk she gave at Perspectives London, on 14th March 2018. Kamini shared her uplifting personal story as a cancer survivor who is giving her life back to AI-enabled cancer research projects.

See the vyn (a SmartVideoNote) below for her 60-second view on why she belives in the power of artificial intelligence.

Businesses are increasingly realising the power different perspectives have on innovation and productivity in the workplace. More perspectives lead to smarter questions, better answers and more innovative teamwork. Read on for inspiration on how to leverage different insights and viewpoints.

Reflections of a one-year-old

It’s almost a year since we launched vyn.

A year when we made considerable progress on many fronts. But, 3 big things stand out for me. And, as I reflect on my learning this past year, I can’t help but draw some analogies with the world of art, my other passion.

Simple is not easy

How many times have you looked at an abstract painting and heard someone say, "I could do that!"? While abstract painting looks easy and simple to some, it can actually be more challenging than traditional or classical painting.

Human AI - The future is bright

The future of AI is here.

AI is changing the way we interact with technology. Here at vyn, we believe the AI we incorporate into our solutions should take us back to a more human and natural way of living: Less clicking, tapping, typing and swiping... More talking, seeing, smiling and listening.

Elevating the positives gives more value than eliminating the negatives…

Eliminating the negatives is what we are all good at… our focus is to create a complaint-free service… our energy is spent in filling the gaps, removing the nuances… but then we are rarely left with time to even aspire for the extraordinary?

The feel-good guide to diversity in tech

Why startups should embrace diversity for a happier, more successful business.

After an autumn of #metoo and strings of sexual harassment stories from across industries, the discussion around diversity and inclusion is back in our news feeds once again. On the one hand, I’m fully behind the discussions that are going on, and I agree we need to talk about the depressing recent stats around diversity in tech, and stand behind the people who’ve bravely brought to light their own stories. On the other - and I know I’m not alone in this - I’m finishing up my last week of work for 2017 and preparing for the holidays. So my two cents on #TechTalksDiversity are here to make you smile.
